Beware of Enid Ellis
We currently have a complaint filled with the Texas Real Estate Commission against Enid Ellis. She was the property manager for a home we rented in Coppell. I completed a final walk through of the property when the lease was terminated. Enid refused to provide me a copy of the walk through checklist. When I asked if anything needed attention, she said no, but not to expect our entire deposit back. Long story short, Enid still has not provided us with a move out checklist and we have not received any of our deposit. We did retain an attorney who is in the process of suing the home owner for the return of our full deposit. If you do rent a home from Enid's property management company, be sure to get everything in writing. In several instances, Enid was dishonest and did not follow proper TREC protocol. I also would not recommend doing business with Peter Colt or Mark Henry. All are ReMax agents and I would stay far away. They are the epitome of everything bad with real estate agents. From personal experience, that are not dishonest, unprofessional and everything a real estate agent shouldn't be.
