Let me begin by saying we are disappointed that our appraisal came in so low. However, we believe the low amount was due Mr. Hill’s incompetence.
David was rude and short when he called to set the appointment to appraise our home, and completely inflexible on scheduling a time.
After we scheduled our whole day around his 1:00 appointment he was late.
He walked in the door and began to run down our house and tell us how it was just a “track home”.
He commented that our home was the biggest in the neighborhood; probably half the homes are bigger than ours.
Our next door neighbors, who have almost a identical home, had their house appraised the prior week by another company. Their house appraised 25% higher than ours (250K vs 320K).
