Since day one the duplex I rented has been a disaster. I understand that when you rent an older house there will be problems. I expect them to be fixed in timely and efficient manner. Not only was this not the case, Mr. Chapin will only respond to his tenants via text message, he will not pick up your phone calls. In my experience he also has no problem swearing and threatening his tenants. The only time you will see or hear from him is around the first of the month when he needs rent. I thought he might have something against me personally. I asked the neighbors in the unit next door about how they have been treated. They were having the same problems and were researching taking Mr. Chapin to court. Since suing a man who has nothing would be a waste of time and money, I decided against it. I will leave everyone with this. DO NOT RENT A HOME FROM CRAIG CHAPIN. It will no doubt be an awful experience. I don't know how this crook has a real estate license.
