Idiot Inspector
Please do your research before letting this idiot inspect any of your homes. He has absolutely no knowledge of housing codes. He also like to scare of any buyers with his so called expertise in foundations. What a joke.

Sketchy
Aaron Heitman is a joke. He claims he has all this knowledge of electrical code because of his fire fighter background. The fact that any fire station has hired this guy blows my mind. Take five minutes and google him. He\'s been arrested for public intox, theft and has a history of lying to authorities. Sketchy, liar, bully. Do your research.

Not knowledgeable on electrical code
Aaron heitman has also renamed his company to Professional real estate inspector, probably to disassociate himself with Inspectex or maybe because he was let go. He recently did an inspection on my personal home and made some serious statements about electrical requirements that were needed. He IS NOT a a master electrician. We called out a master electrician to evaluate the report and he clearly doesn't understand code and electrical requirements. If he had some concern, he should have stated to the buyers hat they hire a licensed electrician versus scaring the buyer that there was a major electrical issue when in fact everything was installed to code and green tagged by the city. Cocky, arrogant inspectors like this give inspectors a bad name in the industry. When you are buying a house do your homework before hiring an inspector. Read reviews and check their experience level Even check with the state to see if they have any complaints filed against them.

Unethical
We have had many inspectors over the years as a buyer and a seller, but never have I had such a egotistical inspector as Aaron. In this particular occasion, we were the sellers. Aaron showed up for the inspection and because we had some work done that morning the pilot light on our gas was off. He called our realtor and was rude throwing a fit that he would have to leave and charge us a trip fee if it was not turned on immediately. Within 20 minutes, my neighbor met me at the house and we turned it back on. Aaron was no where to be found. Not sure why he could not proceed with other parts of the inspection? He then harassed our realtor for 2 days about the $150 trip fee and said he would not complete the job until he received it. We had a bad feeling that he would hold a grudge and write a biased report. Sure enough he nitpicked the house and scared the buyer off.
He is the true definition of a bully!
